Tuesday Plan-Non Veg

Here is the list of food items to buy during the weekend /gathers if already available at home and preferably keep chopped and prepped in the fridge to make all these Indian dinner recipes. 

For Tadka Rice

Rice-one bowl
Bay leaves-2
Salt-as per taste
Edible colour-1pinch
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Coriander leaves

For Chicken Hariyali

1 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh mint leaves
1 onion properly chopped
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp haldi powder
1tsp coriander powder
1tsp cumin powder
1tsp chicken masala
1 tablespoon green chile paste
1 tablespoon salt
2tbsp of tomatoe puree
2bay leaves
2tbsp cokking oil
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – cut into chunks

For Dal Makhani

 1/2 cup whole urad dal 1/8 cup chana dal
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 minced green chili
1/2 teaspoon turmeric (Haldi)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
1/4 cup cream
2 tablespoons ghee or clarified butter
1/2 teaspoon cumin seed (Jeera)
Pinch of asafetida (Hing)
3 to 4 whole red chilies (Sabut Lal Mirch)1/4 teaspoon red chili powder optional (Lal Mirch)
 2 bay leaves/Tej patta
For garnish:
1/2 tablespoon shredded ginger and finely chopped coriander leaves
