Ingredients


For tadka-

  • Oil-1tbsp
  • Onion-1/2 chopped
  • Garlic Paste-1tsp
  • Hing(asafoetida)-1pinch
  • Mustard Seeds-1tsp
  • Haldi(turmeric)-1tsp
  • Mirchi (chili)powder-1/2tsp
  • Coriander powder-1/2tsp
  • Coriander leaves(cilantro)-chopped to garnish

Instructions

1)Put dal ,water,haldi powder,salt,tomato in a cooker and close the lid wait for 3-4 whistle

2)Take out the whistle properly let it cool take the dal out and ready for tadka

3)Pour oil in a kadai add mustard seeds wait to sputter than put hing,onion,all spices and a tomato from cooked dal after they get fried properly pour all dal from cooker into this ,garnisg it with coriander leaves.

4)Serve hot with roti,rice any of your favourites
